Kentaro Asano (LL.B., Keio University; LL.M., New York University School of Law) is a founder and managing partner of Verybest. Registered as a lawyer in both Japan and New York, Kentaro has over 15 years of practice experience across a wide range of sectors, including, amongst others, corporate law (ranging from matters involving major listed companies to small and medium sized enterprises and venture companies, with a particular focus on Chinese cross border transactions), M&A and large scale litigation. Kentaro has also published a number of texts focused on corporate law and contract matters, in addition to holding seminars on Chinese legal matters.
