Hirohisa Esaki (LL.B., Waseda University; J.D., Aoyama Gakuin University Law School; LL.M., Munich Intellectual Property Law Center) has over 10 years of experience in private practice, as in house counsel and at the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hirohisa has experience in representing clients in various sectors, but especially in the energy, information technology, robotics, and finance sectors. Having completed a part of his education overseas in English, Hirohisa has been involved in a number of large scale international transactions, including cross border debt finance matters, the establishment of a Japanese and Chinese joint venture, and the negotiation and drafting of treaties (including the TPP) during his time at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Hirohisa also has valuable experience in IPOs, representing clients in intellectual property disputes, civil litigation, and compliance in general.
