Weng Daokui (LL.B., East China University of Political Science and Law, M.P.P., The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Public Policy) is a lawyer licensed to practice law in the People’s Republic of China. Weng is fluent in both Chinese and Japanese and has primarily focused on a range of matters involving Chinese and Japanese companies, including inbound/outbound expansion and subsequent withdrawal, litigation, joint ventures, labor law and competition law. Going forward, Weng hopes to be involved in facilitating and assisting in China to Japan investment projects. Weng has also authored a large number of texts and articles broadly related to Chinese legal matters for the Japanese audience.
